In 2024, I was invited by the Czech label Halenion Zion Records (https://halenionzion.com/) to make a remix of their wicked LA-MA Riddim. When I received the stems and tracks, I decided to approach the remix more as a "deconstruction" and I worked with restrictions similar to those of the creators of the riddim, which was done entirely on the legendary Casio MT-40 keyboard. So I only used samples from tracks that Tom from Halenion Zion sent me: drums and bass are from MT-40, and all vocals and noises are from acapellas of songs that were released on the riddim... No other sample sources were used, except for a little audio bit from a radio interview done in the Ram Dance Radio Show with the riddim creators.

This approach made it different from my other tunes, but I enjoyed making it :) The entire remix album with my track and other 7 remixes by other producers is out now: halenionzion.bandcamp.com/album/la-ma-riddim-remixed-2

My affair with jungle/dnb started in 1999 and I am DJing and producing music since 2001. Around 2003 I have moved from drum'n'bass to ragga-jungle. My remix of Gentleman's "Runaway" was released on Mos-Hi 002 in 2005. Later that year my tune "Go Home Soundboy" also got released on M*A*S*H Records 002. The third vinyl record came out in 2009 - my track "You Fall In" was released on the first czech raggajungle label Ankh Records. Around the same time Bludclot Records included my tune "Welcome to Jamrock Remix" in the digital release of Carry On EP (Bludclot002). And, fifteen years later, my remix of the super heavy LA-MA Riddim was released on Halenion Zion Records (2024).

I have been playing out at numerous gigs all the time and released some DJ mixes as well for free download, that should be floating around on the web. Since 2003 I am also active as a reggae/dancehall selector with my sound crew http://www.soundcloud.com/peeni-walli (visit the website: http://www.peeni-walli.org ), and in the past 15 years I have mostly been playing reggae and dancehall, and other carribean-inspired genres.
