Welcome to Local Underground RDG 4 featuring an early mix from Hypatia. This mix wastes no time in getting right to it. Hypatia is all business on this one. A firing track selection and keen mixing fuel this deep and driving journey through some wicked, wicked tunes. If you like it dark and all things ominous, this is itttt. And I love it. The transition into Permanent State is one of my favorites on this mix.  By track four one begins to realize..."damn, we're deeep in it, and it's only track four." And then, it's just no prisoners from then on out. This mix is serious.

And this is no surprise. Hypatia is a true musician, and her youthful artistry is on full display here. She has always mixed with precision and an artful ear for programming.  What a gift we have to hear this early mix here preserved. Twenty-odd  years after this was recorded, Hypatia's musical journey has brought her to Pembroke records and her own productions. But it is here that we can see the early roots of that blossom through these records. So, at long last, enjoy this mix from our friend Hypatia.

Evolving the timeless Journey
When GU013 Ibiza arrived in September 1999, Sasha’s selections from his Space Ibiza sets etched themselves into the fabric of global club culture. The originals spoke with clarity: Deep Progress in its uncut form, Mercury & Solace in its soaring trance guise, Stage One as a milestone of cinematic progression. Each track was placed with precision, creating an arc that felt both inevitable and untouchable.
This 2025 reconstruction takes that same map and redraws the contours. Where Sasha placed the originals, here alternate versions step forward. Raff n Freddy’s Deep Progress returns, but reshaped through a Mosho edit — sharper, more insistent. Zoe, once heard in its classic trance cut, now glows with Chris Cargo’s private remix. BT’s Mercury & Solace is no longer the anthem as-was, but a re-edit that bends its edges into something more elusive.
Some classics take on whole new skins: Perception reworked with Ruhe’s subtle touch, Heaven Scent lifted into Marsh’s widescreen palette, Xpander expanded again through Axel V’s mind-expansion. Even cornerstones like Stage One and Dreamstate branch into alternate realities — edits and remixes that tilt the familiar sky into new colors.
The differences are not jolts but tangents: quiet deviations that send the listener into unexpected spaces. The sequence still flows with the DNA of Ibiza ’99, but the journey is threaded with detours — edits, B-sides, and reinterpretations that Take you into a familiar space but another dimension.

The past years we've been broadcasting dj sets from all over the world by the most famous deejays (+ interviews)  & all those years we've received support from over 1000 labels worldwide. 

Over more than 18 years (till summer 2021) I broadcasted my radioshow 'Rotationz' every sunday evening on more than 20 Topradio frequencies through Belgium (Fm - streaming - dab+ & digital tv).

From September 2021 till August 2022, we broadcasted the show every sunday evening on 'The One Ibiza' & 'The One Marbella' between 21H00 and 22H00 + DanceTunes Radio (every FRIDAY between 22H00 and 24H00).

From February 2023 till December 2024, we broadcasted the show every sunday evening on 'Radio TRL' between 20H00 and 21H00.

My music style = organic house - progressive house & melodic house. 
My sound reflects lots of melodic, euphoric and atmospheric influences/elements. It's all about the emotion & the right atmosphere in the music.

The past years, I was programmed alongside deejays such as Ida Engberg, Butch, Ramon Tapia, Henry Saiz, The Freemasons, CP, Airwave, Frankie Jones, Yves Deruyter, The Mackenzie, Dave Swayze, ...

In the early years I contributed lots of interviews and music reviews for # magazines (Move-X, Outsoon, BG Update Holland).

I also produced & remixed some tracks under my moniker 'The Mystic Force'
