Music production has been one of my favorite creative outlets throughout the 2020s. It’s one of the rare times I feel truly free creatively.  

I don’t usually share my stuff because I get caught up in the comparison game—I’m not a pro, and I use a free DAW. But this year, I set a goal to actually finish music I’m proud of.  

This track is called *Onward*. I originally made it in 2021 but never felt like it was "good enough" to share. It’s heavily inspired by a JGill beat I heard back in 2013, and I wanted to shape it into something that captures the feeling of pushing forward, moving on, and keeping momentum.

Onward

This one was an interesting ride! Made back in 2023 while I was unemployed lol. The idea was to create a Linkin Park-style beat in space with lots of cosmic synths, all while exploring the tension of holding onto a lie vs. the release of truth.

Had to work with some not-so-real instruments, but pushing those limits was part of the fun!

Free From Lies

This is another one I made in 2020 during lockdown. When it felt like the world was crumbling around us. I defenitely harnest that energy into the beat and was heavily inspired by
	
"Lies" by CHVRCHES and some Carly Rae Jepsen 80s style instrumentals. 

Weird inspiration for something intense I am aware. Loved experimenting with different synths to give it that intense, airy, and almost alarming vibe.
