The Racing CFF vs Saint PryvÃ©, also known as UEL or French National 2 Group A EL, is an annual tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (French National 2 Group A) since 1971. This prestigious event brings together eligible European football clubs in an exhilarating competition. Positioned as the second-tier tournament in European club football, it holds a significant place between the highly acclaimed French National 2 Group A Champions League and the Racing CFF vs Saint PryvÃ©.

LA QUESTION DU JOUR: razzia sur nos data, à qui profite le crime?

1. On entre dans le vif du sujet avec une perche tendue par Carmela Troncoso, professeure assistante en informatique à l’EPFL, dans l’épisode 10 de l’enquête. Un exemple qu’elle cite et qui remonte aux années 2000: celui d’un supermarché américain qui effectuait des analyses d’achats à des fins de publicité ciblée. 

L’analyse du comportement d’achat des shoppers/consommateurs ne date pas d’Internet mais d’avant-guerre, puisque la société Nielsen mesure les achats alimentaires en France depuis 1933. Pourquoi tant de méfiance envers les GAFAM et tant d’indifférence envers Nielsen?

2. Quand le porte-parole du groupe Migros en Suisse romande tient les propos suivants:

Nous n’avons aucun intérêt à obtenir des informations qui ne servent pas ce but (ce qui serait le cas si nous collectionnions des données pour les vendre à d’autres, ce que nous ne faisons pas)

Est-il possible que le porte-parole du géant orange n’ait simplement pas connaissance de pareilles “subtilités” ?

3. Parlons maintenant de gouvernance des données, avec une ou deux nuances notables entre Coop & Migros sur la conduite de la transformation digitale des deux mastodontes du retail en Suisse:
Tandis que Coop a créé une division “digital & customer” au sein de sa direction en 2023 pour répondre de manière “plus rapide et ciblée” aux attentes des clients, chez Migros la responsabilité en la matière est partagée entre le Marketing (MGB-Cumulus/migros.ch), l’IT et le service juridique. De votre perspective, quelle organisation répondrait mieux aux attentes des clients ?

4. Voilà une information qui a retenu notre attention: 

Migros va abandonner son environnement informatique sur site (on-premise) pour s’orienter vers le cloud, c’est-à-dire le stockage de données en ligne. Migros exploitait jusqu’ici encore quatre centres de données lui appartenant. 

Comme Rainer Baumann, chef du département Opérations à la Fédération des coopératives Migros, pensez-vous que ce modèle n’était pas la bonne solution à long terme ?

5. L’intérêt pour les données de santé de la Migros (rachat de Medbase) ou de la Poste (rachat de Axsana) peut surprendre: en effet, on s’éloigne significativement des métiers historiques de ces groupes. Si ce n’est pas pour analyser les données, à quoi bon ?

6. L’identité numérique est un gros sujet pour La Poste et sa société SwissSign. Risquons-nous à terme de voir une compétition entre identités cantonales et nationale ?

7. Un bon élève pour boucler nos questionnements ? En termes d’utilisation des données personnelles, on dirait que le CFF sortent du lot puisque la collecte se limite au strict minimum.
