Dictator Records is an independent record label based out of Atlanta, Georgia,
focusing on music production, music publishing and artist management.
Dictator Records was founded in the year 1997. Since Then, the record label has sold over 50,000 records world wide, since its first label release titled “On Tha Rise” by the group MRM, which was released in 1997 following the second album compilation release of in house producer/rapper Lil’ Dre titled “Young N Ballin'” which was released the following year.

Gianpiero Marino entra nel mondo della musica nel 1980 ,inizia a ricevere lezioni di musica e Tromba e trombone dal maestro Giovanni De Carolis, nel 1984 entra a far parte della banda “La Pontina” di Aprilia come trombettista, accede nel 1992 al conservatorio  “Ottorino Respighi” di Latina  dove nel 1994 vince la borsa di studio. Perfeziona  i  suoi studi con corsi e master di musica leggera e soul con i direttori musicali Rai,tra i quali Ciminelli Giancarlo , collabora alla realizzazione di alcuni LP.
Al suo attivo esperienze con grandi orchestre di musica da ballo professioniste (orchestra Franco Bagutti,Orchestra Borghesi...ecc.),  partecipa come tromba solista a vari concorsi tra i quali “Un Artista Da Lanciare” organizzato e presenziato da Raoul Casadei (2001).
Milita per 9 anni nell’orchestra Mozzato di Latina.
Nel Giugno del 2005 in occasione dell’ uscita del suo primo CD “Sogno” ,il suo primo concerto solista nella chiesa della sua città “San Michele Arcangelo” di Aprilia,dove riscuote enorme successo,l’estate successiva presenta il brano “Sogno” nel Pre concerto di Paolo Belli.
L’anno successivo conduce in una emittente televisiva locale (SL48), la trasmissione musicale “LA LUNA EL SOL” la quale prende il nome da un brano contenuto nel suo disco, la trasmissione si  protrae fino all’estate del 2007.
La sua partecipazione al programma CULTURA MODERNA di CANALE 5 dell’estate 2007(nella quale presenta il brano “per qualche dollaro in più di Ennio Morricone”) è una vetrina delle sue capacità musicali a livello Nazionale.
Sempre nel 2007 in collaborazione di amici musicisti istituisce un nuovo gruppo musicale, l’orchestra

“GIANPIERO MARINO & lavori in corso” per 10 anni allieta le serate da ballo delle sale da ballo e piazze del centro/nord Italia.
Nel marzo del 2011 Gianpiero Marino viene premiato a Venezia da Facchinetti (cantante dei POOH) per aver scritto il brano SIVIGLIA prodotta dalla Gde di Vincenzo Farina
Negli anni successivi l’orchestra assume una metamorfosi con il ricambio generazionale .
Nel 2014 realizza un nuovo progetto discografico, il Cd “Voglio”,il nome di questo cd  proviene dal brano scritto dallo stesso Gianpiero con la collaborazione del maestro Alessandri che riscuote un grande successo a livello nazionale, tanto da essere prodotto dalla Galletti Boston casa editoriale .
Nel 2015 Gianpiero inizia una collaborazione con Carlo Lamberti, con il quale realizza dei progetti tenuti nel cassetto da tempo.  
Negli ultimi anni la suddetta orchestra vede crescere la propria notorietà nella musica da ballo evidenziato dall’accrescere del numero serate e dei successi di pubblico negli eventi che la vede protagonista. 
Nell’anno 2019 l’orchestra assume il nome della “Gianpiero Marino band”
