"The "Party Girl' script and performances were so hilarious that it was super important to have many of the iconic dialogue moments on the soundtrack. I think I went into the edit room (this was shot on film!) and literally grabbed snippets of favorite dialogue to include in between songs. Erik Talbert aced getting us great sound efx, dj scratches, etc. for the interludes. 

I also have fond memories of teaching Guillermo how to DJ so he looked convincing on camera while spinning. Super sweet! " - Bill Coleman

Still love to visit record stores & dig through bins of used records when i go on business trips. Recorded 100's of mixed tapes for classmates/friends and hours & hours in front of the turntables.
