—the artist now known as Bionix—found his musical destiny on the streets of West Alameda, California. There, amid the city's rich cultural mosaic, the beats of acid techno and hyphy hip-hop mingled with the legacy of 90s West Coast hip-hop. It was a golden age, and for Jess, it was an education. He didn't just listen to the city's rhythms; he absorbed and remixed them.
As a young Latino nicknamed “Breeze” by his crew, he built his world of sound from the ground up, turning salvaged electronics into beat machines and blending hip-hop's soulful storytelling with futuristic synths. This love for tech and tunes fused into a sound that was raw and utterly original: cyberpunk hip-hop, a collision of urban grit and sci-fi sonics.

Through years of grinding, odd jobs, and late-night sessions fueled by scraped-together savings and a second-hand laptop, he earned his stripes. As the artist "Glazzes," he electrified underground clubs and spread his sound across platforms like SoundCloud and TikTok, drawing listeners in with tracks that showcased both rawness and finesse.

Fame brought new challenges—the pressure to evolve and to navigate the industry without compromising his creative vision. But change has always been a catalyst for Jess, not a compromise. Now, as Bionix, he continues to push boundaries, building a career rooted in sonic innovation and community impact. His career is a testament to his dedication, supporting his family and uplifting others through his music. Looking ahead, he plans to launch music workshops in his hometown of Alameda, passing his journey and skills on to the next generation of creatives.

Music is more than sound for Jess; it's his lifeblood, his compass, his constant evolution.
