Hello. It's been a while since I've posted here. If you haven't noticed already, I changed my name! I started to hate the old one and felt it was time to make a change. Sorry I haven't really posted anything as of late. I haven't really had the motivation to show off my stuff. Hopefully I'll post more soon. In the meantime, have this semi-decent cover I made using mostly Cave Story soundfonts.

Dear Dad,

I feel really, really awful right now. I'm running a high fever. My skin looks funny. The walls are moving. Everything looks way bigger than usual. I can't sleep, but I can't get out of bed, either. Dreams don't make any sense, but neither does the real world. I wish I was strong enough to come home and see you again. I wish I could just cry into you for hours, and hours, and you'd tell me everything would be okay again. I miss you.

But, even if I could go back, would it really be the same as it was before? The world's a different place now, and we're both different people. Maybe neither of us want to admit it, but it's true. You can't go back to spending every waking hour taking care of me, and I can't regain the innocence I had when I was just a little girl. We have to go our own ways, like most parents and children eventually do. But I don't care. That doesn't stop me from wanting to see you again. Maybe it's not rational, but you can't live on rationality alone. Emotions are just as important.

If I keep writing this, I know I'm just gonna start crying a ton, so I'll end it here. Please, come and see me when you can. Nothing would make me feel better more than seeing you again.
