Mon Gourmand

      Let me begin by saying that this is a parody, a novelty song, a funny song, not to be taken seriously!! I love The Beatles (My favorite rock & roll band ever), I love Sir Paul McCartney and his music! I love Wings! This song just came to me one day in my studio when I read how Paul's ego may be getting the best of him in his old age. He was always a Go-Getter and the driving force in The Beatles towards the end, I will always admire and respect him for that! He was the mastermind behind "Sgt. Pepper" and "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be" and "The White Album" too, to an extent. I'm a huge John Lennon fan but I love all the Beatles!! 
     I was trying to write a song like a Weird "Al" Yankovic type song! I love Weird "Al" too, of course! Some say that Paul is a Has-Been now but he's the richest Has-Been there ever has been too! I'll take that title all the way to the bank! He is truly a living legend!! Sometimes we need to laugh at ourselves and I hope people don't take offense because I'm having a little fun here. Beatles fans can be a little touchy sometimes! I know because I'm one!

     I worked hard on the recording and did it during the pandemic because we needed to laugh a little. The video is new, i finished it a few months agao and I spent several weeks on outting it together. The video will drop tomorrow on Nov. 12th 2025. A new chapter of the awesome Beatles Anthology (chapter 4) will be dropping on Disney Channel in a few weeks as well. I hope it gets released on Blu-ray as well, as I would love to own it. 
     Anyway, this song is just for fun and it's FREE, listen up Pauly, sometimes it's good to give back a little for FREE! You can't take it with you, you know! As a songwritter Paul is one of the best, as a Bass player, he's one of the best, as a musician, he's one of the best, as a visionary, he's one of the best! I hope he can take a joke! Like A Flower is the final song of the first part of my two-part album (Likes Of Me Pt. 1). The song is about a girl who will probably never know I liked her. The song starts with harmonizing synthesizers and a recording of my brother and co-worker having a conversation. 
Everything in this song is recorded from scratch, from guitars, synthesizers, drum machines, and bass guitars, all going from a tape recorder, into an audio interface, and lastly into my laptop for one final mix.
