Cat Couture who is a self taught British multidisciplinary artist with heritage from Trinidad and Venezuela, working with the mediums of paint, photography, film, music, writing, poetry and coaching. 

As a director and photographer, Couture’s work has been published in Dazed, Wonderland, Rolling Stone, Notion, Cultured and Soho House, including clients within the contemporary art industry such as Gagosian New York and Saatchi Gallery London. 

Couture has been a guest writer for publications such as Complex Magazine. In her early career, Couture also worked as a Model and TV presenter interviewing the likes of Alicia Keys and The Black Eyed Peas as well as being featured in campaign photoshoots and runway shows. 

Couture expresses herself creatively without limitation, whilst encouraging  and empowering others to do the exact same. 

Formerly signed to Sony Music as a singer & songwriter, Couture is now working on her debut album which she plans to release independently in early 2026. *CW: references of SA.

The wonderful Karen Arthur is back with part 43 of her show, “Can We Talk”, and on this episode, she is joined by Birungi Kawooya, who is a British-Ugandan artist, wellbeing researcher, and creative facilitator whose work centres Black feminisms, Afro-somatic movement, and community care.

Birungi creates powerful installations using natural fibres, Ugandan batik, sculpture, and sound — exploring rest, repair, and resistance, especially for Black women and gender-expansive people.

Her work has been commissioned by The World Reimagined, Kensington + Chelsea Art Week, and she’s exhibited at the Science Gallery London, KLA (pronounced klar) Art ’24, and The New Art Gallery Walsall.

From co-creating a 25m mural to leading a bark cloth installation at King’s College London, Birungi’s practice is deeply participatory — weaving ancestral knowledge, collective healing, and joy into everything she does.

Dudley Anderson was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from Bible College in 1990, God opened the way for Dudley to branch out into Christian radio. As a musician and worship leader he developed a heart for Christian music, which became the main thrust of his radio work in South Africa. 

 In 1996 God called Dudley and his family to the United Kingdom where he now works as a radio programme producer and presenter. Dudley also writes a FREE weekly e-mail devotional called, GodTracker, available at surereality.net
