Orangeboxman, AKA Joshua Clement Broyles is best known as arranger and multi-instrumentalist for Spootnik Orchestra, which released 4 albums in the early 2000’s; one half in Russian.

Josh has professional training and experience in Classical, Jazz, Balinese Gamelan, Jiangnan Sizhu, and Beijing Style Chinese Opera.

Josh is considered the world’s top authority on the perceived dissonance of augmented triads, and has a Master’s Degree in Music Theory from the University of British Columbia, as well as a BA in Music Composition.
