this hymn speaks to me. who else but Thee so fair and comely, long-suffering and compassionate?  in my deepest valley, i resonated with Job's heartache when everything got stripped off from him.  in my broken state, i was forced to turn to Him eventually. i was tired of remaining in death and needed His resurrection power to come forth. we may fluctuate in our love towards the Lord, but He has always been longing and waiting for us to turn back to Him. 

sometimes, i wonder why some things have to be this way.. would it not be easier to love Him when everything is breezy? well, the Lord knows well the ways to gain my heart and my thousands of conversations with Him. without the trials, we often forget Him. a sister told me that the Lord wants us to deepen our r/s with Him through the many little convos with Him throughout the day, a marriage life. He isn't a judge but a High Priest who CAN be touched with the feelings of our weaknesses, don't allow the enemy to deceive us. come out of our self and CLING to Him. we may say, it's valid for me to feel sad. yes, it sure is but remaining there won't help. we need to fight to touch the Lord as life. little by little, day by day we turn

Locked the Gate” is a fierce, emotionally charged breakup anthem built on the theme of time running out.
The song tells the story of someone who waited, warned, and hoped — until the moment came when waiting wasn’t an option anymore.

The verses capture the frustration of dealing with someone who shows up too late, always with excuses, always expecting understanding.
The pre-chorus sets the tone: time is ruthless, and second chances don’t last forever.
The chorus hits hard with finality — the gate is locked, the forgiveness window is gone, and fate has already stamped the ending.

I’m a product of the 1990s — raised on After Dark and Colosseum, where raw mic energy ruled the night. There’s something about those loud voices and echoing bars that still sends shivers down my spine.

My approach to my music: 
I love loopy and trippy techno. When dancing, I like to let go of everything around me and enter a deeper dialogue with myself. At this stage, I am 100% in tune with myself. This works for me when the groove drives me and the elements I hear are interesting but not too intrusive. That’s exactly what I love to create on the dance floor.

To achieve this—and to create the necessary element of surprise—I combine different loops randomly and blindly. Since I never know exactly what will happen, I am constantly surprised and inspired by the result.

More nerdy Information:
For each of these instruments, I have prepared about 30 different loops, most of them 1 bar long.
Using the Streamdeck and a self-built ‘Max for Live Tool’, I can select a completely random loop for each instrument with the push of a button. The tonality can be set. To make sure it’s not completely random, I can choose between different categories, such as chords/arpeggiator.
I can control the complexity of the loop using controls.

All instruments run through Ableton (RME Fireface UCXii). With the help of ‘Launchcontrol’ and 2x ‘Midifighter Twister’, I can control all the parameters that are important to me. Filters, reverb, random delay and pitch effects glue everything together.

When playing, I rely on my intuition. I can sense what should happen 2-4 bars in advance. If I feel like I want to hear a new chord pattern, I press a button and let myself be surprised. If I like it, I develop it further. If I don’t like it, I move on.

Since the whole structure is improvised, I am correspondingly excited before the gigs. Because almost nothing can be planned in advance. My biggest clue is whether I dance. If I get myself to move and get lost, I am happy with what happens.
