This sick track is the first of many collaboration releases with DJ Animal. The steppa beat starting in the intro is reminiscent of the late nineties and early noughties era, then when it drops a chunky warping bassline comes in over the top to give the tune a real in your chest feel. The dark mood is emphasised by the background ambient sounds and the bass stabs that follow. This one belongs in the history books of the drum and bass scene and deserves the recognition it is currently receiving.
