Severity Zero returns to FoKuz to spread more of his effortless soulful liquid D&B around. Which is nice. Picking up jazzy samples and breaks as he goes, there's a patchwork feel to "Remedy" that adds more interest than usually seen in a liquid tune. Breathy, trip-hop style vocals punctuate the track throughout, adding class while the big bolshy bassline throws its weight about. "Bread & Circuses" is a completely differet kettle of mackerel: Snap out that jazzy feel and replace it with frosty atmos and crisp production amid futuristic-sounding waves of synth. Two perfect winter tunes.
