Few tracks captured the euphoria of that moment quite like 'Veracocha - Carte Blanche' a landmark production born from the creative partnership of Ferry Corsten and Vincent de Moor, two of the most influential names in trance history. Since winning the Heat UK DJ Competition in the early 2000s, Mat Lock has been carving out a career defined by technical precision and a deep-rooted passion for electronic dance music. A veteran of the London circuit and beyond, his influence was cemented early on when his co-production "Deep Psychosis" (with Luke Warner) had a Daniel Kandi remix which was hand-picked by Armin van Buuren for the ASOT 2008 Yearmix and featured on his Armin Only DVD of the same year.

After a decade-long hiatus to focus on family, Mat made a blockbuster return in 2022, re-igniting the scene at Frantic’s 25th Anniversary party at Ministry of Sound in London. Since his comeback, he has proven his versatility, moving seamlessly between trance and hard dance on his regular Twitch streams. The return has been completed with the booking of a peak-time energy set at Euphoria Weekender 2026 in Malta, a bucket list moment achieved.

2025 saw Mat Lock return to production and his recent collaboration with Andre Maier releasing "Le Feu De Saint Elme" (Trance FC) still ringing through the speakers, he remains committed to both his craft and the community.  Whether spinning uplifting trance or hard dance, Mat Lock remains a driving force in the UK scene.
