Motus” and Violin Concerto in F minor, RV 297 “Winter” are distant cousins — both born from the same language of notes, yet worlds apart in character. And yet, in Latin, Motus means movement, flow — like water that carries both the familiar and the unknown. In this piece, I invite you on a musical journey where these seemingly different worlds drift together, merging into something unexpected. It’s not an easy path to imagine at first, but one that reveals its coherence through motion, persistence, and sound.

M O T U S

Xxhe or Ж is an ice composer, vocalist, sound artist, serrulate sonancer, performance artist, poet, bending shape dancer, martial artist, experimental opera borner, and groundbreaking creator from San Francisco.

Known for writing a "strange-tundra" opera at the age of seventeen using the sounds of wind, ice, orchestral instruments, and the human voice, Xxhe styled a new genre and continues to invent new ways to write music.

The founder of the “Dialect Halls of Ж: the rooms to sonancers, movists and zuo dialects,” a collective which curates unusual and intimate performances, Xxhe is a gatherer of musicians, performing story-heavy dance pieces to their original compositions in both above and underground places - never without an extraterrestrial flare and a drop of otherworldliness.

Navigating the labyrinth of sound, I craft timeless, high-resolution music—raw, plugin-free, and emotionally precise. My work reflects how I see, feel, and exist: unfiltered, untamed, and rooted in both ancient rhythm and modern fidelity. Music is not just data—it’s perception shaped by knowledge, balance, and presence. Every beat is a moment. Every track, a pulse in time.
