HOMAGE 1989-2022

One of my early 90's piano pieces inspired by the film "IMMORTAL BELOVED" with the unsurpassed acing of Gary Oldman as Beethoven!!! You are listening actually to the piece as it is being expressed or composed on my Korg  O1/WFD WorkstationKeyboard while recording it at the same time......A slow Waltz , a pas de deux between two lovers that keeps renewing thru continuous modulations into various keys!!! Starts in Eb major and after a journey of key modulations ends up in Db major!!!

This is the "Beast's Love " theme unfolding while 5thplets and 3plets are forming a  contrapuntal accompaniment  against a conventional 4/4 meter for the sake of creating a  variety of speed perception yet without affecting the beauty of the main melodic line....
