Hi everyone, it feels like it’s been a while since I last posted any music. I had some nice time away on holiday. Fortunately I’m now feeling all refreshed, it’s time to get back into the music. So today, I thought I would drop Gatecrasher Experiences episode 11. In this one I have invited back Rob Kellaghan, this time to change things up, he will be taking on the Early mix, as opposed to his previous late mix, which went down very well. His mix starts with Deep, Proggy sounds which build up gradually and methodically into more uplifting territories which provides a great warm up to pass onto my Late mix, which gets into the more driving and uplifting sounds of crasher, as usual with a few rare hidden gems aswell as being well balanced with some of the more popular classics. Orbyte discovered electronic music back in 2018, admiring big names such as Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and David Guetta. Back then he started playing the decks before his friends, and a year later his very first time before the public!

Orignating from the area of Utrecht, the Netherlands, Orbyte dedicated his sets to the sounds of trance and melodic techno, as he enjoyed classical euphoric music as a kid. From small closed events then, he kept going with his passion for music, creating mixes over and over. It has resulted in his Signature compilation mixes where he celebrates his birthday with in a different theme every year. In 2024 he started his radio show called The Multiverse of Music, where he showcases his musical library, invites guests for a mix and shares his inspirations.

Going back to his original love for music as a kid and teenager, Orbyte started his FROGR alias in classic trance, hardhouse and eurorave. Since 2025 he is adapting more and more to that alias, growing popular under that name and bringing this particular uplifting and bouncy sound around The Netherlands and the UK. V3GARD is an EDM project of mine. I'm a big enthusiast of electronic, dance, trance, both uplifting and "downlifting" (is that even a word..) moods and heavy melodic angles. I try to hit a nostalgic nerve with the 90's and 00's being a central inspirational part of my work and mindset. Melodic strolls, nostalgia, and anything that makes the heart pump and head bump!

I grew up with learning music through the demoscene and modules/tracking from 1997 onwards with Fast Tracker 2, then later ModPlug Tracker, before moving to Renoise - which is the DAW I still use this day. Different projects over the years before starting to focus on heavier EDM in 2021 under the V3GARD name.

I'm a big fan of electronic music in general, and leaning more into instrumental music than vocal to be honest. Creating interesting and catchy music without vocals is more impressive to me. But I must admit, prog trance with a beautiful, haunting vocal is also amazing! 
I'm inspired by anything that is catchy, be it a melody, part of a hook, a bassline, or even just some percussions, or a brilliant reverb on a snare -- anything that can possibly grab attention.
