Fi Belek is a weekly segment we produce with Sabra FM to talk openly about the issues that matter in Tunisia. Each episode focuses on one topic  women’s rights, gender roles, mental health, bullying, and the everyday challenges people face. We bring an expert every time to give clear, reliable answers and practical advice. The goal is simple: make space for honest conversation, share useful information, and help the community understand things that really impact their lives.
Episode 1 | Economic Violence Against Women in Agriculture The first Fi Belek episode dives into economic violence, especially what women working in agriculture face during the olive-harvest season. Our guest, Dorsaf Rouissi, a legal advisor and specialist in Law 58, explains the issue with real clarity. She shares statistics, concrete examples, and breaks down how economic violence actually happens in the workplace  unfair pay, exploitation, lack of contracts, and pressure that leaves women without control over their own income.  Dorsaf also explains how Tunisian law protects women, the rights they already have under Law 58, and why many women still don’t know these rights or don’t realize they’re facing violence. She shows where women can report abuse, who can support them, and what steps they can take to defend themselves. It’s a straightforward, practical segment built to raise awareness and give women real tools to protect their dignity and their work.

The third Fi Belek episode features Dr. Abdullah Jelassi, Director of the National Office for Family and Human Development in Kairouan. He talks about women’s rights in general and focuses specifically on reproductive rights, explaining clearly what these rights include.

Dr. Abdullah encourages women and young people   both men and women   not to be afraid to consult doctors or visit institutions that are specifically there to support youth in matters of sexual and reproductive health. He shares guidance on topics from menstrual care to pregnancy and other reproductive health issues, showing where and how young people can access help safely and confidently. This episode aims to inform, empower, and give young people the tools to protect their health and well being.
