Bill was a longtime Climax resident who also served at Climax-Scotts Community Schools Superintendent from 1965 until his retirement in 1978. Bill passed away in 2006, but thanks to the work of PHS through the years and small miracles of modern technology, Bill is back with us, if only for a moment.

This isn't your typical episode of Climax - The Podcast. This week, Jackie Longman returns as co-host as she and Kevin tell a storied tale, largely only know to Climax-Scotts High School students from the mid to late 1990s. Today, the share "Birth of a Holiday - The Legend of Beam Day."

Join Jackie and Kevin as they do their best to paint the scene of 1996 C-S High School and how with but one simple expression from Joel Case followed by an amazing response by the teacher gave birth to a holiday, still celebrated by many all these years later.
