this is the sixth and final track produced for this project!

this song was a last-minute addition. from the beginning, i was planning for five tracks, maybe six, and after finishing "wrong one," i debated whether i wanted to make one more. i decided to take a different approach, something lighter and softer. production-wise, this track is a bit of a wildcard, standing out from the rest, which was exactly what i wanted. i wanted the last track to be a sad anthem.

at first, i wasn’t sure if it was a good idea, but then i thought about how i personally deal with emotions during hard times, whether in relationships or just in life. sometimes, i need to let myself cry and fully feel the sadness before i can start healing and moving forward. that’s what this song represents, falling in love, getting hurt, and allowing ourselves to process those emotions.

the chimes, birds, and ethereal sounds in the production symbolize the beauty of embracing our feelings, even when they aren’t happy. it’s all part of the healing process. with this in mind, i chose to use "vintage sun" by clueless kit. this song is probably one of my most streamed songs ever. i first found it during my freshman year of college, and it’s been in my playlists ever since. that’s why i thought it would be really special to feature it on this ep, as it represents all the times i turned to it for comfort during hard moments.

i know some people don’t like listening to sad songs when they’re feeling down, but for me, it’s always been one of the best ways to process emotions. i wanted to create that same outlet for anyone who needs it. i also took a lot of inspiration from "stay" by chet porter for the production, and i’m absolutely in love with how it turned out.

honestly, i’d have to say this is my favorite song on the ep. the beauty and sadness in it really resonate with me. i hope you enjoy!
