Welcome to SNDR  MOTION 027 with https://soundcloud.com/franco_it . Franco is an Italian artist based in Genoa. 

With his crew, https://soundcloud.com/codewarproject , he started a cultural project in a former psychiatric hospital that still provides sanitary and mental health services.  They co-host events, gigs, art expositions in symbiosis with the regular life of the hospital. “This project and the cultural environment that surrounds me affects not only my music but my life, giving me a propulsive push in developing discourses, ideas, contents. I think that to be rooted in a scene is really important both for music and musicians.” 
“My goal is to communicate the fact that I’m sensitive to the current time and to themes related to our life in the new media era. The theme that I want to reflect most is pluralism (culturally and symbolically speaking), traceable in cultural products (like music) and consequently in the hybrid construction of identity references. For this reason, I can't say that I'm inspired by a specific artistic current, but I find it very important for an artist to have a solid awareness of his own references.” - Franco says. 

He is a skilled vinyl DJ and he prepared a special set for our podcast series.
