Think Outside the Bunn

After relocating to Kansas City with my wife, I embarked on a new hobby of home brewing beer. This newfound passion ignited a profound curiosity about the local brewing scene. I yearned to create a show that would allow me to explore the city, meet brewers, and immerse myself in the vibrant brewing culture.

Beyond beer, I wanted to delve into the world of local coffee roasters and musicians. This unique format offered an exciting opportunity to blend my love for all brews and music while simultaneously exploring the city.

The podcast spanned thirteen remarkable episodes, garnering immense interest and support throughout Kansas City. It was a privilege to make this dream a reality.

I visited various breweries, coffee houses, and brought local musicians into my home studio to discuss their music and capture live performances.

KC Tunes ’n Brews is a podcast that draws inspiration from a previous podcast I co-produced with a close friend while residing in Fort Collins, Colorado, called transplant radio.
