Spinning all things quirky with an eclectic fruity twist.  I present The Shizzle a weekly radio show on 99.9 BAY FM (Byron Bay) exploring a diverse range of music from the now, yesterday and tomorrow.  A show that touches on  psychedelia, techno, post punk, disco, house, leftfield electronic music, downbeat, world exotica & more. If I like it I play it.

I am a music junkie who is happiest playing to an adventurous dance floor. Originally from Melbourne I now call the Byron Shire home. In Melbourne I presented various electronic music radio shows on 3PBS FM, was a founding member of the Global Eyes music/art project and a regular fixture on Melbourne’s underground dj scene spinning at intimate affairs through to clubs and larger festivals including Earthcore,  Rainbow Serpent & The Eclipse Festival. I love playing music to a smiling crowd from intimate gatherings through to larger shenanigans.

Variations on a Theme with Eleanor Talbot is a weekly 2 hour show that focuses on themes such as “Coming of Age”, “Mad Scientists”, “Cats & Dogs” and “The Call of the Sea” - there’s always a story for a song. 

Each show features an eclectic selection of music from many different genres; musically speaking, I have no boundaries and like to explore pieces from places outside my community and country as well as championing local talent. In-between music sets are stories, facts and guest interviews pertaining to the theme. I try to curate music that is not generally Top-40 preferring to look to alternative and independent artists and to the greats of the past as well as mining YouTube, Bandcamp or Soundcloud for the weird and wonderful. It's often a trip down the "rabbit hole" as you never know what I will play next.

1988 London UK - I started as a bedroom DJ and soon had a few gigs playing for mates, this turned into a few more gigs which turned into a full time 6 night a week DJ!  My preferred sound of Garage & House has been played in various countries around the world as well as playing in commercial clubs, pubs and rocking out at wedding's, birthdays and parties from London to my new home of Australia.  With 3 radio shows a week and numerous events across Australia I have the music, sound system and light show to fit into any event.
