3. Evaluate Plan Coverage

When comparing plans, consider the following aspects:

Benefits: Look at what additional benefits each plan offers beyond basic Medicare coverage, such as dental, vision, hearing, and wellness programs.

Prescription Drug Coverage: Ensure that the plan includes your medications and compare the costs associated with the drug formulary. Check if there are any restrictions or higher costs for certain drugs.

Preventive Services: Check if the plan covers preventive services like screenings, vaccines, and wellness visits.

4. Assess Costs

Different plans come with various cost structures. Compare the following:

Monthly Premiums: The amount you pay each month for the plan.

Deductibles: The amount you need to pay out-of-pocket before the plan starts to pay.

Co-pays and Coinsurance: The costs you will pay each time you receive care or fill a prescription.

Out-of-Pocket Maximum: The maximum amount you will pay for covered services in a year.

5. Check Provider Networks

Better to keep an open mind and heart and see life as a continuous journey, often leading to unexpected places and a deeper understanding.
 
Our speaker this evening, Urvashi Patel will be sharing her thoughts, experience and learning on the many aspects of this important topic.
 
Urvashi has been with the Brahma Kumaris from a young age. Originally from Bradford, Urvashi has become an integral part of the International Coordinating Office of the Brahma Kumaris in London. Her friendly and adaptable nature has led her to play a wide variety of roles which span from producing large scale public events to supporting the maintenance of BK centres across the UK. She enjoys teaching Raja Yoga meditation and using practical examples when teaching and sharing.

When we place our sense of self value and self-respect on our job, relationships, health etc., it will fluctuate depending on those external factors. That in turn creates all the negative reactions of stress, anxiety, control and anger. Raja Yoga gives us the understanding that we each have intrinsic value. We don't have to prove ourselves. When we really experience that, it creates a deep stability and sense of self worth. In this talk, we will be looking at how we can create that sense of innate value.

Sarah is an engaging facilitator with a light hearted and down to earth approach. She is based in Leeds meditation centre and is part of the centre team. She also looks after social media, course and workshop writing and facilitation. She enjoys being creative and experimenting with different aspects of spiritual teaching to find out what works for her, then sharing it with others. She has been a student of Raja Yoga for 30 years. She also recently had to balance her health with her commitments and this is continuing to be a learning process.
