Souvenez-vous en. C’était il y a 5 ans, ça paraît vieux et ce n’est pas si loin.
Le 12 mars 2020 le président nous dit « plus d’école les enfants » puis le 16 mars il ajoute « confinement pour les parents ». On parle de distanciation sociale, avant de corriger en distanciation physique. Peu importe pour les plus fragiles, il sont condamnés à rester isolés.
En mai 2020 ils nous ont laissé un peu sortir, en juillet ils ont commencé à nous masquer, en octobre ils nous ont reconfinés et en décembre ils ont encore changé pour instaurer le couvre-feu.
Souvenez-vous en. C’était il y a 5 ans, ça paraît vieux et ce n’est pas si loin.
En janvier 2021 le couvre-feu arrive plus tôt, puis en avril ils reconfinent.
En mai les terrasses sont rouvertes, en juin le couvre-feu cesse, les masques en extérieur ne sont plus obligatoires et commence le pass-sanitaire, qui deviendra obligatoire en août. Et là commence la nouvelle histoire d’un virus qu’il fallait au début éviter et qu’à présent tout le monde veut avoir car il faut se faire scanner pour aller boire un simple café.

En septembre 2021 les soignants deviennent victimes avec l’obligation vaccinale et en janvier 2022 le pass vaccinal remplace le pass sanitaire.
Le 14 mars 2022, 2 ans après les premières annonces,  c’est la fin du pass vaccinal.

A cette époque souvenez-vous, le président nous rassurait en proclamant « nous sommes en guerre »
On nous a dit que le coronavirus était l’adversaire, pour commencer. Puis ce furent les personnes en bonne santé, devenues susceptibles de le communiquer. Les cas-contacts, les positifs, les négatifs, les faux, les vrais, les laisser-passer, le flics traquant les gens et les faisant payer pour avoir voulu respirer, les familles sidérées, déchirées, divisées, tout le monde apeurés et tous les soirs les chiffres présentés pour ne pas nous rassurer. Puis après les avoir applaudit, on a fait des soignants les boucs-émissaires en les obligeant à se vacciner. 
N'oubliez jamais que sous prétexte de protection, nous avons été terrorisés et divisés, que les plus faibles jeunes et vieux ont été traumatisés.

5 ans plus tard nous sommes toujours là et d’autres guerres, des vraies, cette fois, ont continué à apparaître. 5 ans plus tard, les dirigeants n’ont pas trop changé, leur manière de faire non plus : ils créent la peur, la terreur et la culpabilité avec des discours mortifères, morbides et moroses. La mort dans l’âme, le moral en berne, on se parle mal, on masque à grand peine que souvent les gens sont au bord des larmes.

Mais 5 ans plus tard, l’essentiel demeure : notre quête à tous est celle du bonheur et non de la peur. Ils peuvent s’agiter, menacer, contraindre, 
Evoquer la guerre pour le plus grand nombre
Mais sur nos visages ne pourront éteindre
Le sourire de ceux qui ne craignent l’ombre

Baignée par sa grand-mère dans la culture martiniquaise, Sophie Cantier, Autrice, compositrice, Interprète toulousaine puise son inspiration tantôt chez Michel Berger, tantôt chez Malavoi. De sa voix pleine et enveloppante, accompagnée de son piano, Sophie Cantier nous livre une rêverie acoustique, poétique et lumineuse.

Il compose des mélodies rêveuses et émotionnelles.
Il a réalisé l’album « Astral Tale » en 2004 sous le nom de Cosmic Pocket. Les sonorités évoquant l’enfance sont tombées dans l’oreille de Jean-Jacques Perrey avec qui il a produit l’album « Froots » en 2010. Il comporte des airs humoristiques et des morceaux inclassables.
Depuis plusieurs années, il travaille sur une alchimie entre sa musique et des œuvres graphiques bucoliques.

Songwriting has been a lifelong passion for me, dating back to elementary school when I first began crafting stories, poems, and eventually lyrics. As a former drummer in various bands, I always relied on others to bring my words to life musically. However, after a long hiatus from drumming, I decided to take the leap and learn to compose music to accompany my lyrics. Through classes and dedication, I've embarked on a new journey, breathing fresh life into old lyrics and penning new ones. You'll find a mix of older and newer works here. Especially for some of the lyrics. 

Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is being completely entranced by 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a very young child. There was something about the rhythm and the melody that just captivated me. I must have played it a thousand times, wearing the record out, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be a drummer and to create that magic for others. 

But I was too young then, and of course, I couldn't afford a drum set just yet. So, I turned to writing as a way to express myself. As I mentioned above, I started with stories, then poems, and eventually, lyrics. I found that writing was not only a way to tap into my creativity, but also a way to process my emotions and experiences. 

As I grew older, my love for music only deepened. I realized that music has this incredible power to transport us to different times and places, to evoke emotions and memories that we thought were long forgotten. It's a universal language that can bring people together like nothing else can. 

For me, writing lyrics is a cathartic experience. It's a way for me to tap into my emotions, to process the world around me, and to create something that I hope will resonate with others. And when I hear my words come to life in a song, it's truly magical. It's a feeling that never gets old, and it's what keeps me coming back to music time and time again. 

I love many genres of music and artists of many genres. And if you listen to some of my songs, you will find that I like to make songs of different genres as well as mix different genres into each song. One of my all-time favorite bands is Evanescence, and I have made a lot of songs where I have tried my best to emulate that sound. 

Now, I have recently started experimenting with new sounds. I never heard of glitch beats before I took music classes, and now I'm fascinated with the sound, so I have been experimenting with glitch beats recently.
