This song is a deeply personal and emotional reflection of my current struggles with depression. Recently, I've been feeling lost and disconnected from someone who's always been my rock, my confidante, and my best friend. Unfortunately, she's going through her own dark time, and we've both been struggling to be there for each other. 

I wrote this song as a way to process my emotions and cope with the pain of feeling separated from someone I love. The lyrics are an honest and vulnerable expression of my feelings, and I hope that by sharing this song, I can connect with others who may be going through similar struggles. 

This song is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, we're not alone, and that music can be a powerful tool for healing and connection.

In the video, Herman, while in uniform and on duty, is seen pulling over a woman named “Jordin” during a staged traffic stop. Although his face isn’t visible, his uniform and badge are unmistakable, linking him to the department.

During the fake traffic stop, the woman, seated in the driver’s seat with a man recording from the passenger side, engages in a provocative exchange with Herman. When she fails to produce her license and registration, she exposes her breasts, attempting to avoid a citation. In response, Herman is recorded making an inappropriate comment about the situation and then proceeds to grope the woman.

The Aftermath: Immediate Action and Public Outrage
The video quickly circulated on social media, prompting outrage and swift action from the Metro Nashville Police Department. Upon being notified of the video on May 8, 2024, the department launched an internal investigation. The next day, they identified Herman as the officer involved, leading to his immediate decommissioning and termination.

Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson Don Aaron expressed strong condemnation of Herman’s actions, calling it “one of the most outrageous, disrespectful acts” that could be committed by a member of the department. Aaron noted that the incident not only disrespected the department but also undermined the trust and integrity expected of law enforcement officers.

Let me share my journey with you. I started DJing at 16, playing school events in Sydney alongside my mate David. By the time I was 19, I had broken into the Sydney club scene, finally stepping into the career I had always dreamed of. From the very beginning, I was passionate about playing uplifting music—there's nothing worse than being in a club with a DJ who doesn't know how to get the crowd moving.

Over time, I made my way into the heart of Sydney’s nightlife. The 90s were the golden era for DJs—the energy was electric, the music was explosive, and the vibe was unforgettable. I had the privilege of being trained by some of the best and working with top talent in the city. That’s where I truly found my groove.

Honestly, I wish the magic of 90s music had never faded, but times changed. In the early 2000s, I hung up my headphones and turned to producing club tracks, especially since so many artists weren’t releasing proper club mixes. Still, I never stopped DJing—I just evolved and moved into a new realm.

Influenced by 80s Japanese City Pop, making retro kinda stuff 🪩

Songwriting has been a lifelong passion for me, dating back to elementary school when I first began crafting stories, poems, and eventually lyrics. As a former drummer in various bands, I always relied on others to bring my words to life musically. However, after a long hiatus from drumming, I decided to take the leap and learn to compose music to accompany my lyrics. Through classes and dedication, I've embarked on a new journey, breathing fresh life into old lyrics and penning new ones. You'll find a mix of older and newer works here, for the lyrics. 

Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is being completely entranced by 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a very young child. There was something about the rhythm and the melody that just captivated me. I must have played it a thousand times, wearing the record out, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be a drummer, and to create that magic for others. 

But I was too young then, and of course I couldn't afford a drum set just yet. So, I turned to writing as a way to express myself. As I mentioned above, I started with stories, then poems, and eventually, lyrics. I found that writing was not only a way to tap into my creativity, but also a way to process my emotions and experiences. 

As I grew older, my love for music only deepened. I realized that music has this incredible power to transport us to different times and places, to evoke emotions and memories that we thought were long forgotten. It's a universal language that can bring people together like nothing else can. 

For me, writing lyrics is a cathartic experience. It's a way for me to tap into my emotions, to process the world around me, and to create something that I hope will resonate with others. And when I hear my words come to life in a song, it's truly magical. It's a feeling that never gets old, and it's what keeps me coming back to music time and time again. 

I love many genres of music and artists of many genres. And if you listen to some of my songs, you will find that I like to make songs of different genres as well as mix different genres into each song. One of my all-time favorite bands is Evanescence, and I have made a lot of songs where I have tried my best to emulate that sound. 

Now, I have recently started experimenting with new sounds. I never heard of glitch beats before I took music classes, and now I'm fascinated with the sound, so I have been experimenting with glitch beats recently.
