Thanks for listening.  
This is the first of the second collection of songs.  It is inspired by dates from two of my cousins. The guys they went out with appeared to be great initially, but ended up being...of less than desirable quality.  One cousin called a guy "aggressively average" and "rough in the face".  I jokingly told her I would make a song about that.

Here it is.

Aggressively Average

There was a teenage girl that my wife had befriended some years ago.  The girl had a difficult home life, and my wife would try to help the girl.  We got to know her family well.  My wife saw her as a little sister; loved her like she was family.  When the girl graduated from high school she left home and got involved with a bad guy.  Abusive, like her biological father. We would try to help her when we could, but she would not return home.  Eventually, she was found dead.  On that day, her mother and stepfather called me and told me what happened.  And then, I had to tell my wife.

She cried for days.

Little Girl Lost

This is my (probably sad) attempt to write lyrics for a R&B love song.  My mind tends to think more in terms of pop music and country music, so it was an interesting challenge.  I tried to write about how I feel about my wife.

You Are The One

You ever just been in the car with your significant other, and a song both of you like comes on?  Maybe one from when you first met?  That happened one day, and I watched as my wife (attempted) to sing the song.  The smile on her face was the most wonderful thing I'd ever seen.

Your Smiling Face

My older brother challenged me to write lyrics that were inspirational and uplifting.  I tried to write a hip-hop song (I am VERY bad at that).  And...of course it still came out as a country song.  I figure there is nothing more inspirational and uplifting as love, so...yeah.

Love Is

Feliz ano novo! Que tudo se realize no ano que vai chegar! É o Corinthiano querendo ver o time dar show logo! A Irmandade relembra um pouco do que foi 2024 e já mostra os primeiros desafios de 2025. Alguns jogadores saindo e tem Pogba chegando? No Corinthians não tem semana tranquila.
