The third various of our trilogy is landing. As with our previous compilations, we focus on artists close to the label and give them space to express freely their current influences and mood. We imagine this VA as a continuous story, exploring different styles from drum and bass to techno, with a care on sound design and psychedelia.

The Various starts with Vardae’s track “Floating”. Can’t find a better title for this one, mixing dnb broken beats with some mesmerizing textures and a real attention on stereo wideness. Then comes “Negative option” from Mersel and “Constant voices” from 9beats, both fixing a heavy groove with subtle alien pads and trancy basses. The fourth track, “Propagating Dynamic Disturbance” from Anechoic, shows a deeper approach with raw acid wavefolded lines and cycling synth movements. Last track from Milan based Atoloi “Verde Serpente” focuses on fast synth arpeggios and shifted percussions giving the listener a real psychedelic experience. It shows our label has no boundaries when it comes to genre, but finds unity in mental, groovy and innovative material that will fit perfectly in your sets.

“Katan EP” is inspired by the recent theory of Nikodem Popławski about black holes and parallel universes. According to the new equations, the matter black holes absorb and seemingly destroy is actually expelled and becomes the building blocks for galaxies, stars, and planets in another reality. Katan is a planet inside this new reality where time, space and gravity are totally different from our world. The primitive life forms living there face a huge existence crisis after taking down all the resources from Katan leading to apocalyptic landscapes and war.

We're delighted to welcome back our friend Mersel for his second EP on the label. Since his first release in 2020, he has chosen to expand his artistic universe by presenting a more psychedelic techno approach infused with tangy tones that he crafts using modular systems and the legendary TB303 sounds.

His EP titled "Biome" reflects the ecosystems that surround us, defined by the vegetation and animal species that inhabit it. This concept of balance and symbiosis with the natural world served as inspiration for Mersel in creating this release, which combines organic and electronic sounds.

The EP kicks off with "High Plateaus," a slow and atmospheric ambient track that immerses us in a deep and rich landscape. The next track, named "Taiga," is a downtempo piece with catchy and textured trance-like bass lines. "Tundra" then epitomizes the focal point of this EP with a deeper techno sound, characterized by cyclical synthesizer movements and a frenetic rhythm. Finally, the last track plunges us into a heavy groove accentuated by ethereal pads and raw acidic bass lines.

In Echoes of Fractured Light, Anechoic explores the fluid interplay between light and shadow. Each track becomes an auditory representation of light as it bends, scatters, and reflects through space and time.

Subtle shifts in illumination are mirrored in the evolving sound design, tones morph and shimmer, rhythms fracture and reassemble, and layers of sound drift in and out of focus like fleeting shadows cast by shifting light.

Every piece captures a moment of change, sound refracting into something new, expanding and contracting like breath across vast sonic landscapes. Natural reverberation plays a key role, much like how light lingers, fades, and reflects in its surroundings, shaping the atmosphere in unseen ways.
