WNZR's Cougar Conversation today features Serenitee Johnson from the MVNU Women’s Basketball Team.
She is a freshman Sports Management Major from Uniontown, Ohio. She came to MVNU because of the community and close bond of the basketball team. 

Serenitee started playing basketball when she was 10. Her older brothers inspired her to play and work to get better.  

She plays the position of small forward for the Cougars and enjoys driving to the basket and creating plays for her teammates. Serenitee talks about the perseverance of this year’s team and how they are living out the GRIT culture. GRIT – Godliness, Responsibility, Integrity and Togetherness.

WNZR's Cougar Conversation today features Carter Jones from the MVNU Men’s Basketball Team.

He is a senior with a double major in Sports Management and Psychology. Carter is from Centerburg and came to MVNU for the great community. He plans to pursue a master’s degree and go into coaching. 

Carter started playing basketball at the age of 3 when his Mom was a high school coach. 

He is a forward for the Cougars and enjoys serving different roles both offensively and defensively. 
Carter talks about how this year’s team plays hard consistently and is living out the RULECougar culture as a lifestyle. He is learning how to live consistently and likes being a servant leader.

Carter shares memories and talks about his incredible support system. Mom is his #1 Fan!
