"Hot Mess and No Rain" is the first track from my second album "Whatever this is" due for release at the end of 2024. "Hot Mess (...)" is about partying too hard in the early 2000's...

Album 2 hopefully marks a change in approach.

I love the contrasting textures of my first album "The Fight Against Joyless Control" but I'm aware that "loud-then-quiet-then-loud" is only one way to weave a sonic landscape. Artists like Elbow, Josh Pyke, Lizzy McAlpine and This is the Kit don't need hard panned banks of screaming guitars to make a statement. I really aspire to find more of that soul and subtlety in the newer work I'm creating.
