May 2021 - Blaque Eskimo "On Da Beat" is an artist who set out to create a one-of-a-kind, innovative sonic formula, but combining the energy of hip-hop with the catchy and timeless melodies of R&B. The artist’s most recent studio release, Tonight, is actually a perfect example of what I am talking about. The song sets the bar higher with an intense and beautiful tone, which sports some astonishing production aesthetics. The sound is punchy and crisp, but also warm and organic. The song has a lush, laid-back song, which sets the bar higher in terms of melodic structures and exciting rhythmic grooves.
 
The song’s arrangement makes me think of the work of artists like Frank Ocean, Drake and Chris Brown, but Blaque Eskimo "On Da Beat" has a driven character, which endows the artist’s tunes with a one-of-a-kind feel and a very original tone. Is there anything better than a song that’s sung from the heart? I don’t think so. This track achieves an amazing emotional connection with the audience, and it stands out as a very good indication of what this talented musician is capable of, and it comes highly recommended if you are a fan of hip-hop, neo-soul, or R&B music especially. In addition to the artist’s amazing performance, the collaboration with Arqese is truly spot-on, giving the mix a fresh and diverse touch.
 
In addition to this killer single release, the artist is also going to drop a fantastic studio album! The upcoming record is titled “80s PRINCEables,” and it combines some of the best R&B and hip-hop influences from the 80s era! The music was actually very influenced by classic artists like Prince!
