Well hey there, thanks for checking out our second EP. These six songs push the needle forward in our sound as we continue to lose the plot on our original concept of the band. We're just writing songs now and playing 'em however we feel like. The recording process has been enjoyable and productive, and the extended play length has made recording and mixing more manageable. Truth be told, we're long play folks in a singles world, so we'll just split the difference again with another EP.

Booty Chicks is the outlaw-country-punk duo you didn’t know you needed - loud, unfiltered, and dripping in attitude. Fueled by whiskey, eyeliner, and bad decisions, these two fire-starters blend the twang of southern backroads with the raw snarl of back-alley punk to create a sound that's as unholy as it is unforgettable.

Formed somewhere between a dive bar and a drag race, Booty Cheeks was born when two unapologetic women realized there was no space for soft-spoken cowgirls or pretty little harmonies in their world. So they made their own. Armed with distortion pedals, rhinestones, and a truckload of sass, they’re flipping the script on what it means to be loud, feminine, and absolutely feral onstage.

Their songs hit like a six-shooter and shimmy like a pole dancer -  with lyrics that bite, boots that stomp, and melodies that make you want to raise hell with your ex's cousin. Brandon “Broke String” Burnett, a luminary in the Texas music scene, brings a profound and eclectic musical journey to the forefront with his band, dubbed, The Big Iron Boys. Raised just south of Fort Worth, Broke String channels the spirit of Texas Country while infusing it with the rebellious energy of punk and a soulful grit. His distinctive style, characterized by a country crooner's soul,  and a punk rock attitude, propels his songs into the ethereal realms of rootsy rock and psychedelia, a genre they affectionately call "cosmic country."

The Fort Worth Weekly aptly described their sound as “Swampy spaghetti western."

Rooted in the rich musical tapestry of Texas, Broke String draws inspiration from legendary figures like Townes Van Zandt and WIlie Nelson, whose storytelling prowess and emotional depth have left a mark on his craft. The raw, bluesy spirit of Stevie Ray Vaughan, courses through the veins of the band, infusing their music with a fiery intensity that adds a unique edge to their cosmic country sound.
