The dj and producer from Buenos Aires: Tiello, is part of a new Argentine wave, which has a lot to do musically, it has a lot to contribute. He manages to turn poetry into sound notes until we are transferred to another dimension.

The track that we present: Crabtree, is a track that maintains enough substance to keep us in suspense, while it manages to make a reading of the past, looking at the future like few others.

We are the Tasteless Gentlemen

We are not merely four men voicing our opinions of the world and the idiots which comprise it. We are the voices of men the world over. Men who have traversed the battlefield of love and life and returned harder (insert infantile chuckle here), better, faster, and stronger. We are the balls of men who have long since consigned their own genitals to wives, fiances, and girlfriends. We are the jerks you love to hate... and love to love. Why? Because we are men with hearts of gold and balls of steel. Balls hardened by the trials and tribulations of innumerable encounters with the fairer sex. ("Fairer," please...) And while we've clashed swords and genitals with many a maiden, we've somehow managed to retain the delicate sensibilities of the innocence and naivete of our youth. A time when girls were nothing more than objects of our affections and desires, and boobs were only something we watched late at night on scrambled channels in our parents' living rooms. It was an age when we believed women were to be admired, respected, and pursued. And we acted accordingly, and perhaps even got laid a few times in the process. But reality quickly set in, and we soon learned these dainty damsels were by no means so deserving of admiration, respect, or pursuit. They were evil beings, capable of ripping our respective hearts out of our rectums. 

And so the chivalrous turned chiva"less", and respect became something earned, not given. Our pursuits became our passions, not the desires of an era long forgotten. And the girls we once admired learned to admire the hardened (insert another infantile chuckle here) men we'd become. Because it was they who made us. It was they who took the hearts on our sleeves and buried them in our respective crotches. 

We are all gentlemen at heart... our hearts merely reside in a different location in this day and age. And this, my friends, makes us the Tasteless Gentlemen.

Godfather has had a very successful career over the years. Voted 15th best DJ in America by the readers of DJ Times and Pioneer Pro DJ for 2011 and in 2012 out of the top 100, best DJ in Detroit by Real Detroit magazine 5 years in a row (2008-2013), and is now the Red Bull Thre3stlye champion of Detroit for 2013! With sponsorships from Serato and Native Instruments, Godfather currently released an expansion pack entitled Dirty Knock for the iMaschine and Maschine, the industry standard drum machine by Native Instruments with endorsements from Diplo, Lil Jon, Steve Aoki, Disco Fries, Danny Daze, DJ Fuck and more. He plays it all from open format/mashup parties to  house to the deepest trap, ghetto tech and juke parties incorporating his battle style turntablism in his sets. He has played across the globe numerous times in cities all over Europe, Asia, Australia, United States, Canada, China, Japan and South America and receives worldwide recognition.

Lets take a look at it from the beginning!:

DJ Godfather is considered one of the founding fathers of the genre we now know as Ghetto Tech. He started DJing at the age of 15 with the help of, now business partner, DJ Dick. Within a few months of getting his turntables, Godfather was already playing in nightclubs and after hour parties all over Detroit. He started producing at the age of 17 for his first Miami Bass style group Bass Association. With the buzz of a few singles off the Bass Association album on 3 Detroit radio stations, Godfather made his first solo record at the age of 18 on the now Twilight 76 Records entitled "Work Dat". Taking his turntablism skills and mixing Detroit Techno music with Miami Bass music, and new sound was born, Ghetto Tech. With the formation of their new record label Twilight 76 with partners DJ Dick and Brian Gillespie, he took his talent and turned it into an entire business creating 3 other labels known as Databass Records, D.E.T. Only (An exclusive label with only 1000 copies of each release), and Juke Trax (A label dedicated to the Chicago style of Ghetto House and Juke music). With all 4 record labels combined, Godfather and his partners released over 250 vinyl releases and mix CD releases, selling over 800,000 units worldwide. You can hear DJ Godfather tracks on the 2 videos games, NBA 2K6 and NBA 2K7 on 2K Sports. He was also the first DJ to be released on the Serato digital download series, using Scratch Live technology and tracks only available digitally for a mix cd entitled "For The Freaks". With 12" vinyl record sales slowing down over the past years, Godfather and his partners stopped pressing vinyl and embraced the digital download world with their own digital distribution company and 2 online MP3 stores, Secretremixes.com for Mashups and DJ Remixes along with Electrobounce.com for Trap, Ghetto Tech, Electro, Techno and Juke music. They also started Soundbully, A digital distribution company that offers digital distribution to over 187 MP3 stores and ring tone carriers worldwide.

Godfather is also producing under 2 other names. Don Dada which is a duo group with DJ Zebo out of Chicago incorporating trap music with juke, ghetto tech and electro house with 4 turntables in their live sets. Reviews have been fantastic as they already played Movement in Detroit and Spring Awakening in Chicago along with some other big music festivals. The other allis is Detroit Muscle which is strictly house music. Having remixed artists such as Lil Jon, Diplo, Aston Shuffle (Ministry Of Sound), Bad Boy Bill and more!

Recent projects Godfather has been involved in are remixes for Laidback Luke' "Pogo", Dizzee Rascal's "Bassline Junkie" and Baauer's "Harlem Shake which have all made the #1 monthly downloaded track on Serato's Whitelable.net and the 40 Oz Profits, making it in the top 100 on Beatport. Don Dada is also ready to release their Debut single "Rock Ya Whole Block" along with 2 follow up tracks.

Bolsega/Crabtree & The Region All Star Shufflers.

Singer/Songwriter Drew Bolsega & Beat Boogie Drum Builder/Drummer Steve Crabtree recorded a CD in 2006. They are currently working on a 10 song compilation project coined Bolsega/Crabtree & The Region All Star Shufflers.

The musical venture will include a who’s who of local Chicago/NWI area and national musicians that include Phil Miller, Jerry Clemons, Jim Barney, Chris Grove, Kenny Kinsey, Greg Drobac, Larry Mysliwiec, Jim “JP” Henry, Tom Lounges, Eric Holmquist, Neil Holmquist, Melva LaBlanc, “Reverend Raven”, Wally Walsworth, Sonny Tritt, Greg Ashby, Mark Rongers, Zeke Rongers, Roman & Mike Sawczak, Billy Ozzello, Andy Sutton, Jim Rubino, Pat Shanley, Marty Mardirosian, Tim Flatt, Nick Laramie, Ray Klass  & David Ragsdale.  Additional players will join in as the recording progresses.

The music is a compilation of eclectic original rock songs. The project is being recorded & engineered by Neil Holmquist at Dungeon Recording Studio in Saint John, Indiana. The musicians participating are enjoying making music together. The camaraderie among the players shows that local original music is thriving in 2014.
