I co promote a new fresh and exciting trance brand called audio therapy based in Wigan with plans to guest all over the Uk, our launch was on 28/10/23 with the mighty Craig Connelly as our headline Dj, the reason for me wanting to start off a new trance brand is because I feel trance in the northwest is dwindling a little, the northwest has a host off local talent which we hope to include in our lineups, so anyone looking to get onto the big stage send me a Demo mix to pdfenna@gmail.com…..Iv been into trance and electronic dance music since 1997. I was going to places like cream , passion, gatecrasher godskitchen and golden most weekends , I quickly fell in love with the club scene and dance music. 1997 was the year I first went to Ibiza as well and it was love at first sight, I bought a pair off technic 1210’s and pioneer DJM600 mixer around the millennium, I’d say around that time my influences was Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules and Tall Paul… I build up a decent record collection and learnt the art to mix vinyl over the coming years.. 
In 2005 I sold by turntables and upgraded to pioneerCDJ 1000s MK2.. after Seb Fontaine finished his 2 year cream residency around the millennium time.. the likes off Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and Armin Van Burren was getting big in the trance scene.. I started to take an interest in Paul Van Dyks sound, and to this day after 20 odd years he’s still 1 off my favourite DJs.. I had my CDJs till around 2011, but I rarely went on them so I sold them and funded my Ibiza holiday in 2012.. I kinda retired from clubbing not long after Ibiza, I stopped getting the buzz like I used to.. fast forward to 2017 after 5 years out the game I met a group off clubbers from my town who was into what I used to be into. I started going to a few gigs with them and quickly found the passion again, by this time digital DJing was the in thing so I bought a decent pioneer controller and started my DJing hobby again, Followed by me purchasing some more technics 1210 turntables around 2018 thankfully I kept my vinyl collection, it didn’t take me long to learn to DJ again, the hardest part was getting my head around the djing software and preparing playlists.. you’ll find on my page my latest mixes and vinyl mixes.. my style is mainly uplifting melodic trance, but from time to time you’ll come across progressive house mixes..thanks for reading and hope you enjoy my mixes

Eddie Swales' passion is trance music. 3 years ago he took the plunge and took a keen interest in DJing. 

Eddie Swales has a passion for the classics and a substantial back catalogue, influenced from the Gatecrasher era of the late 90s and early 2000s. His style is diverse and continues to evolve, playing tech, uplifting and vocal trance both classic and current.

Eddie quickly realised from his impressive reach with his mixes and radio shows that he had discovered a raw talent and an outlet for his love for all things trance.

2023 was Eddie’s breakthrough year. Following the success of his online mixes Eddie has gained a loyal and ever-growing fan base which was soon noticed by Scott Bond. Seeing his devotion to the music that fuelled a generation, Eddie was chosen to play a set at the after-party of the Rebooted event in Sheffield.

Following this he has also played at Anomaly’s ASOL, Binary Finary’s Classic Trance event Unified, Reminiscence, warming up for AJ Gibson, Lost Witness, Kyau & Albert, The Thrillseekers and more recently Signum. Eddie also played his first international gig at Euphoria Weekender in Malta playing 2 sets over the 5 days.


With his sights set on entering the realms of production in the future, Eddie continues to express his love for our favourite genre via as many avenues as possible.

"Tune selection really is an art and in order to get it right, it requires significant preparation and having the right amount of ingredients. It has always been about the journey. Therefore, variety is required to aid the listeners on their nostalgic fix with a torrent of dancefloor destroyers to those forgotten treasures which were unfortunately overshadowed at the time."
