On the fourth day, it shattered.

The visions fractured into shards of unbearable noise. His own heartbeat coming from centuries ago, footsteps he had yet to take echoing in his skull. Time slipped from his grasp like blood between fingers. The hunter became lost in corridors of his own making, trapped in a maze of moments where every enemy he ever killed was still alive& and hunting him back.

Some say Jbilo still walks among us, moving between seconds like a flickering flame. Others say hes stuck in one single heartbeat, replaying it forever. But no one can say for sure, because no one has seen him twice.

They call him the Moniker of Dust, born in the forgotten industrial zones, districts where air filters broke decades ago and the soil turned to ash, Section was raised amidst the fallout of collapsed megacorporations. He never knew family, only ruins. Out of that dust he arose, and from that dust he built himself a new form: half flesh, half spectral myth.

His teeth are sharpened by biotech surgeons in outlawed black clinics. They say he chose them not to eat, but to devour.

His music is cut from static, feedback, and the collapsing frequencies of machines gasping their last sparks. Every track he releases is like a coded transmission: warnings, memories, and executions layered into sound. When you hear his music in the underground nets, you don’t just listen. You survive it.

Section rises, always, from the dust. And when he leaves, the dust swallows everything behind him.

I hope you enjoy this all original mix to showcase my growth as an artist. This year marks 5 years of the Ghost Rook Project. I am proud of how far this project has come and where its headed. This mix is meant to showcase some of my favorite stuff im working on, some favorite unreleased, collabs, and other favorites of mine that have been released over the years. (really the last two years). Recorded on my Opus Quad.

Thinning of the Veil. Vol III

This is the first song on new release, self-titled.  I extracted/sampled audio from  videos of my various walks in the woods over the past few years. I choose for my drummer to play a part to be very repetitive and hypnotic.
The bassline I played is purposely somewhat offbeat to sound a bit unearthly. I choose a simple trance. The brief spoken vocoded part is a mysterious idea behind the title of my project, there are a few reversed speeches I made also in relation. It is composed in A; modal mixtures of minor and major scales.

"The Inner Sun Foundation"

This is the second track of my self titled release. This is one is a rock track. I like to focus on repetitive guitar and bass parts that evoke a trancelike experience. The drums, while retaining groove have a bit of loose jazz feel. 
The lyrics are a stream of consciousness style with many ideas thrown at the listener. Some contain a somewhat angry internal monologue based off of the corruption observed in this world, others contain personal battles and  then dreamlike rambling phenomena. I whispered and added overdrive to said vocal/speaking parts. This is composed in the key of D; using modal mixtures of major, minor and whole tone scales.
