Hairpin region from a 2017 nanopore DNA sequence, which has been modulated against an 880 Hz carrier wave so that the pitch is correlated to the current from the sequencer. The sound has been slowed down 50 times, giving an effective sequencing speed of approximately 9 bases per second.
