For a project with friends, I edited a custom soundtrack for a horror themed album using existing horror scores.
PaulStretch software was used extensively for this project.
I don't remember much of the details, but the Scream 1996 opening logos from the bluray were used (composed by Marco Beltrami) and stretched for the background to create an eerie atmosphere.
The MP3 tags I edited have this information:

I believe I miscredited Elmer Bernstein for ANOES 1984 instead of Charles Bernstein.
I don't remember where Saw 2 titles and RFAD come in for the edit. But, I think I used only fragments to slow and overlap to create one long ethereal horror soundscape.
The only files I have left of the project are MP3's encoded at VBR-0 to save the most bits. Not really suitable for streaming, but I'd like to have an archived version that I can share.
