Die Geschichte und Sozialkunde werden "optimiert", um zu verhindern, dass sich Schüler unbequemen Themen stellen müssen. Geschichten von Unterdrückung und der Bedeutung von Freiheit werden nur noch am Rande behandelt.

2031: 
Neue Gesetze werden verabschiedet, die "extreme" Meinungen im Internet unter Strafe stellen. Was "extrem" ist, wird jedoch nicht klar definiert und liegt oft im Ermessen der Regierung.

Die Regierung kooperiert eng mit "EchoSphere" und anderen großen Tech-Unternehmen. Sie nutzt die KI, um die Gefühle und Meinungen der Bevölkerung zu überwachen und zu beeinflussen. Wer gegen den Konsens verstößt, wird von der Plattform entfernt.

2035: 
Der Großteil der Bevölkerung hat das Gefühl, in einer harmonischen Gesellschaft zu leben. Doch der Preis ist hoch: Sie leben in einer Filterblase, kennen keine abweichenden Meinungen mehr und haben vergessen, wie es ist, sich gegen Unterdrückung zu wehren.

2037: 
Eine kleine Gruppe von Aktivisten versucht, die Bevölkerung aufzuwecken und über die schleichende Erosion ihrer Freiheiten zu informieren. Doch in einer Gesellschaft, in der KI bestimmt, was "akzeptabel" ist, haben sie es schwer, gehört zu werden.
