BIO:

My passion for music, especially rave stems from a young age. I got my first pair of Numark turntables for my birthday at the age of 13, and I've never looked back! I started mixing Makina, and a little bit of bounce too. I invested in a set of Technics at around the age of 16, and started to take my mixing more seriously, with a lot of practice, and others showing me how to beatmatch properly. At 18 my love for hardcore was reignited, and I started buying hardcore vinyl. With hardcore vinyl pressing in the decline, i took the decision at around 20 to go into the world of digital Dj'ing, and i invested in my first pair of CDJ's. Since then i have upgraded a couple of times, and i now use a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000's, which i have had for around 7 or 8 years now. I'll try my hand at pretty much any music style, but my main love is for hardcore & makina. Feel free to ask any questions, don't forget to like and share if you listen and enjoy my mixes! A record label that emerged from a sprawling collective shacked up in an East London warehouse HQ. Throw some amazing parties around Shoreditch/Hoxton/Brick Lane. Was originally formed from Nerm's DJ sets and the musicians they incorporated.



Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.
