This is a mix that best represents what I tend to play at my Roof Top Patio residency at Grant Hall.  I try to keep it light - easy to listen to, as the audience ranges in age, and taste.

A true Dance Floor Classic  , We all know when it was played back in the day in the clubs it mesmerized us all !!!!  D.C. LaRue is an American singer, songwriter and producer. His music was successful in clubs and on dance music charts worldwide during the 1970s and early 1980s. From 1976 thru 1980, when disco was king, the music of D.C. La Rue rules the underground and every dance floor of the world. With #1 hits like "Cathedrals", "Let Them Dance" & "Hot Jungle Drums and Voodoo Rhythm", he was a major creative force behind a movement that evolved into pop/dance music of the 80s and 90s . Let Them Dance, released in 1978, was the beginning of D.C.'s successful quest to start changing album cuts into  different re-mixed 12" dance singles. Also background vocal credits on this masterpiece include – The Great.... Pattie Brooks..... ,Dani McCormick, Michelle Aller and Petsye Powell...... I remixed this great Electro masterpiece  and mean no disrespect to the original version, Enjoy !!!!!!!

Okay, okay. Quick history backstory.  Drums as a child, and through his 20's.  Turntables, and loads of vinyl before entering the digital realm.  Nick has been busy with all that noise for two and half decades.  Growing up on rock, grunge, 90's electronic, hip hop, and everything in between rounded out his senses for music, and what appealed to him.  A taste ever evolving leaving him playing house, techno, minimal, acid, downtempo, and breakbeat.  Now with over 20 years of experience you can expect great track selection, crowd reading, and flawless mixing.  This journey has seen him play in cities through Western Canada, and with larger acts from abroad including the likes of Mark Farina, Tipper, Kevin Yost, James Teej, Pezzner, Dirt Crew, Detroit Swindle, Noah Pred, Rob Paine, and many more.  

After spending many years as a key part of Left Coast Crew in Victoria BC as a DJ/Promoter, he is back In Saskatchewan where he started this journey. The new vision is to rekindle his old connections and push his promotion brand The Motive To Move (TM2) to new heights, and entertain as many party people as possible.
