It's a new year and Jimmy has started as he means to go on. The recent run of guests joining him on the show continues with Tilal, Preston based, Sudanese DJ & Producer.

This month is a special one for the Liquid Assets show. Jimmy is joined by Pyxis, founder of Beats In Kind. She works tirelessly in the DnB scene to raise money for charities. The compilation album series HeadsBass has raised over 15k for mental health and last years Floodlight album raised 22k in disaster aid. Her mix this month will exclusively feature music from the newest album - Flashlight: DNB Aid for Los Angeles.

Last night’s Liquid Assets show delivered. Jimmy opened the first hour with a finely tuned selection of the freshest new liquid releases, setting the tone with deep rolling vocal liquid– everything the show is known for.

In the second hour, Liquefaction took over with a set made entirely of his own unreleased dubs. Full of his emotionally rich and beautifully deep sound, the Oxford-based producer and DJ showcased why his music continues to appear in Liquid Assets tracklists month after month.

With releases dropping soon on Glitch Audio, Lizplay and Sub Wavelength – Liquefaction proved exactly why he’s one to watch.

Jimmy Knees ft. Liquefaction - Liquid Assets 4/7/2025

Back at it for Loungin' Volume Three, this time we've got a nice mix of jazzy, spacey, and liquid vibes, really it's the kind of sound I'd imagined when I initially thought of the concept for this sub-series. Starting off with a nice intro tune from Dan Guidance's new The Light E.P. (an excellent piece) followed by some nice funky, liquidy vibes from Smote and Fernando Ferreira.

One of my favorite producers in Drum and Bass, Jrumhand, has 4 tunes on this mix, he's got a deep, progressively cinematic style of producing, utilizing ethereal and eclectic samples and breakdowns with smooth, complex drums. Really dig his style, if you haven't already, go check him out.

Sw3rv3 _Loungin' Vol. 3

I've got another session for you guys and gals to check out, it's a wide reaching mix with plenty of depth and flavor. Ranging from vocal and lyricist centered tunes to rollers, liquid, atmospheric, and amen with some darker undertones. This was a freestyle session I laid down last night, actually was planning to just relax and take it easy but some situations with the AC got me aggravated so I decided to take that energy out on the decks and I'm glad I did. Some long mixes and some quick mixing with a pretty wide selection of track types. Starts off with a dope tune from Drs and Bou off the B-Sides Mixtape which drops off into another smooth major key track called Homecoming from Above & Beyond, both tracks compliment each other well and set the frame for this section of the mix. It's a storytelling style session which is my creative sweet spot and the type of mixing I enjoy the most. Anyways, it was fun to lay down and I'm not so worried about that AC anymore..Haha

Happy Full Moon & Happy Birthday to those born as the Sun moved through the fixed fire sign of Leo. Each of the signs is associated with a part of the body, Leo with the heart. Leo is generous, joyful, playful, optimistic, possessing a child-like sense of wonder & creativity. The set is quite melancholic in places but ends with a powerful declaration of love and will combined, very Leo themes. I hope you enjoy the mix, thank you for listening.

Zodiac Signs Leo Volume 9

I have a life-long obsession with music playing in punk bands and with drum machines as a kid, then playing bass in a dub collective and messing with 4 track recorders for a while until i bought an Atari and got into programming.  Then I got quite good at doing graphics and video for a living which sidelined my music. I have created artwork and videos for Jah Wobble, Zion Train, Alpha & Omega, Peshay and Mad Professor to name a few. 
I have experienced revolutions through music, punk, rave culture and the revolutionary spirit of reggae and dub, all of which have changed my life. 
My latest musical output is influenced by my emotions as I observe the collapse of an civilisation which seems determined to destroy the natural world as it crumbles, an empire that has us all tangled up it its mechanisms. Many are ignorant, some in denial but some of us are aware of the implications of humanity's greed and selfishness. 
How do we find enlightenment to live in the moment and make the small changes to make bigger ripples in this crazy world of distractions?
How can we even feel the truth through the layers of generational conditioning? 
Music is my release for these feelings, as honest and open as I can be from my own perspective. There will collaborations with people i meet or samples of things that inspire me.
I intend to release an album in 2019, but will post raw cuts of tracks as they emerge, they are not mastered or polished, I want them to feel immediate.

DJ kamineo est né en 1978 à Clermont Ferrand, en France.

Passionné de musique électronique et de hip-hop.C'est en 1999 qu'il a pu acheter ses premières platines. Quelques mois plus tard, il a commencé à mixer et à se produire dans des soirées gratuites et bar . En 2000, il découvre la drum and bass qui devient sa musique favorite. En 2002, il rejoint le karlkargckrew et commence à se produire au Bambar. Mais depuis 2008, il consacre tout son temps à la composition.

En 2014, il produit un remix de loadstar dr Krak sous le label RAM.

Fin 2016, il démarre une émission de style DNB grâce à la radio campus 93.3 Clermont Ferrand sur le mouvement Jungle, Liquid funk et neuro.

2017 Déimos sort le remix kat sous le label hidden company  et continue de faire son live DNB Style avec platine sous Tracktor sur l'antenne de radio campus 93.3 Clermont Ferrand.
