I think that's why this track feels so Alien/Sci-Fi-esq, I don't even remember how I got that sound, just that I'm so captivated by it...

"Every Shade Of Night" has become one of my personal favourites, with this one the song was inspired by the name & the name inspired by a poem/letter that I've written.

Every Shade Of Night

In shadows deep there is a tree, on a hill
I've seen it nightly, known it all,
But every step I take, it fades away,
I wake to find it lost in shades.

One night, a girl, like light, appeared,
So strangely close,  so unclear,
She felt like branches, reaching wide,
A silent echo, by my side.

I searched for her in every place,
In crowded streets, an empty space,
But nowhere did her shadow fall,
And since that night, no tree at all.

Now I’m left with fleeting dreams,
Of roots that whisper, distant streams,
And I wonder if she’s lost like me,
Hidden somewhere in the dreamer's sea.
