Majestic Jungle is Massive #18

"The crowd that had gathered on the quay to watch the departure of Shadow Rose held no collective opinion as to whether she would return. Now that the chronology of those events has become so jumbled, it might be said that she never left." &nbsp; A sailing ship, a sunlit city, a young man's search. This reading, excerpted from a new collection of richly atmospheric short (and very short) stories, suggests unknown histories and unseen realities.

The Right Moment

FØPA is the creative project of Darwin, Australia born Steven Lees an artist who thrives on blurring the lines between genres. His catalog reflects both club energy and meditative depth: the bass-heavy punch of “Purple Ghost Cat,” the house pulse of “Keep On Dancing” and “Crocodile House,” and the atmospheric resonance of “ÆTHERIA,” and Techno favourite “Stop.”Each release is crafted with intention, designed to move both body and mind, whether on the dancefloor or in deep listening spaces.

This project is the culmination of over 17 years in music and culture: from his beginnings as a radio host and founder of Shamzine Magazine amplifying Northern Territory artists, to producing large-scale festivals like the Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival and Mindil Beach Sunset Markets. His work with NT DAW’s further showcased his passion for building producer communities, while co-founding L.A.B. Music Management sharpened his skills in mentoring artists, managing tours, and securing Triple J airplay. FØPA emerges from this blend of production craft, community-building, and industry experience — a project that translates years of shaping music culture into a singular, forward-looking sound.

The Strange Recital is an audio anthology of short fiction. We delight in perceptions of reality that warp and fold in unexpected ways. Each episode runs about 25 minutes and features a story by one writer, plus an author interview with a twist. For older episodes, visit our website.

Majestic started producing in 1994 and began DJíng in 1999, mainly Raggajungle and has since been active in different scenes/residentials/music-genres/ like Hardcoregabber, UK Garage, Hiphop, Bubbelin' and Hardstyle before going back to his love for Drum&Bass, Raggajungle, Tekno and Juke while still throwing in a lot of his past influences.
His mixes are energetic, full of layering, double drops in an overall fast mix fashion.
  
He started mixing with CD's, Vinyl then went digital with Timecode and now using a Denon Prime Go Controller, giving him more freedom with Live Performance elements in his sets.
