Geheimnis records is officially a well known supporter of the Greek underground scene, both in its infamous past and most definitely in its promising future. In the same vein, it is with great pride that the first, self-titled LP of the Athenian, post punk trio, "Data Fragments" will be released through our label. 
Founded in 2017, Data Fragments are Stathis Leontiadis, widely known as Doric (Human Puppets, Exetix), a mastermind of analogue synthesizers, now on the bass, Panagiotis Dedepsidis (Komodia Thanatou) on vocals and ingenious, new wave guitars, previously widely praised on Komodia Thanatou's self titled LP and Panos Dimopoulos (Komodia Thanatou) one of today's most charismatic bass players, on a different, more avant-garde role on synthesizers. The three produced a crystal clear, post punk chronicle, full of blatant manifestos and nostalgia, embraced by nihilistic, insurgent lyrics creating a record not only worthy of its new wave forefathers but a stimuli to all contemporary musicians. Their live - all sold out - performances underscore this truth and make this release a future classic. Beautifully framed by the cutting edge cover art of Alex Karagiannidou, 280 hand-numbered copies were produced, on black and transparent cyan blue vinyl. The album will be released on March 12, 2019.

Blackburn actively performed on indoor concepts like Loudness, Supremacy, XXlerator, HDE Live, Project N50, Restylerz and Amsterdam Dance Event. After 2 festival seasons Blackburn has already played at major festivals like Defqon.1, Q-Base, Dance Valley, Emporium Festival, Rebirth Festival, Intents Festival, Dreamfields Festival, Sunrise Festival, Daydream Festival, Last World, Ground Zero, Beat the Bridge, Dream Village, Dance4Liberation and Festivaart.

Geheimnis Records/Music Productions was founded in August 2010. It's an indie record label, based in the centre of Athens, focusing on re-releases of lost and real hard to find sought-after records and cassettes. Focusing on the so-called Wave / Synth genre of the 80's and 90's, the purpose is to reveal obscure - and many times misunderstood - bands and artists to vinyl collectors and music enthusiasts, who are seeking into old record stores and the internet, just to find one piece at a time (and usually at a high cost...). Somehow, the label's name has to do with seeking lost treasures, therefore it's a secret (in English), a GEHEIMNIS (in German), μυστικό (in Greek), a secret (in French). The main difference is, that the purpose of the label is to expose this "secret" and not keep it for itself. And that's how the story begins !

In December 2011, almost one year after its first appearance, Geheimnis Records has officially entered the era of involving with new artists and releases of the contemporary synth / wave sound, linking the past with the future, the old with the new. And that's because rhythms and melodies didn't stop to be produced all these years, while talented artists are always an intriguing issue which keep our interest alive. So, the philosophy of the label, considering its involvement with new artists, has evolved in its deep meaning. The "secret" exists only in the very beginning. As long as the artist(s) - through our label - reveals his/her work, the "secret" is gone. Anything new has always a potion of secrecy and the label's initial purpose was, and still is, to find and uncover "secrets / geheimnisse".

Energy, Diversity, Renewal, Drive and Atmosphere. These are the words that describe the talented producer ‘Thijs Verdegaal’. 1995 is the year that this talent struck down on earth, where he was born and raised in Noordwijkerhout. Everything Thijs does, comes straight from the heart, and this is what will guarantee his success.

Thijs began producing when he was only 14 years old, but before he even realised, he had reached a level that goes beyond imagination. All thanks to his love and commitment to the music. During his musical growth he developed his own style, which differs from euphoric to slightly rawer tracks. This style in combination with his secret ingredient: ‘innovation’ ensures you that his productions will never bore.

Aeros has already played on some major events, such as Defqon.1 Festival, Dance Valley, Bass Academy, HDE Live and Intents Festival. With a great first year as a Theracords member, Aeros is ready for the next step. AVIO will be his new homebase! With awesome releases like Move and Groove he definitely found his signature sound and is ready to show a bigger crowd what he is worth!
