Mark Bell, c’est avant tout LFO, projet créé avec Gez Varley à la toute fin des 80s, qui marque l’émergence de la bleep music (portée par le label novateur anglais Warp Records).
Quelques années plus tard, la réalisation d’albums pop sera confiée à Mark Bell, comme Homogenic (parmi ses nombreuses collaborations avec Björk) ou encore Exciter de Depeche Mode.

For this second XDisco session, FATX Radio presents an electro DJ Mix by @stephanbillinski, as a tribute to British producer Mark Bell, who sadly passed away 10 years ago in October 2014.
Mark Bell initiated the LFO project with Gez Varley at the end of the 80s and started the bleep music trend (Bleep music is an ultra synthetic techno house music broadcasted by English label Warp Records).
Mark Bell became in charge of realizing pop albums like Homogenic (one of his numerous collabs  with Björk) or Exciter by Depeche Mode.
Stephan Billinski, FATX Radio resident DJ invites you to (re)discover Mark Bell's sensitive and dynamic universe while exploring his singular and demanding journey over more than 20 years through a few compositions, remixes or emblematic productions somewhere between house and crazy techno.

Asid tRf @asid_trf is an under the radar DJ hailing from Patra, Greece. His musical journey began early, spending hours in his father's record shop, where he was introduced to electronic music. This early exposure ignited his passion for the genre, leading him to explore and collect diverse sounds.

Throughout his career, Asid tRf has performed in various cities, including Athens and Amsterdam, gracing numerous clubs with his dynamic sets such as Studio 80 and Sugar Factory. His musical style is deeply rooted in underground techno and electro, infused with influences from EBM and acid sounds. He is known for his intricate mixing techniques and the use of full effects, creating immersive and energetic performances.

In recent years, Asid tRf has been actively involved in the local music scene in Patra, Greece. He has performed at big venues like Dexameni Project, delivering live sets that showcase his evolving sound and commitment to the underground electronic music community.

I started listening to rock music in the 90s until a friend gave me a couple of cds of techno music and there I began to fall in love with electronic music. FATX Radio (Toulouse Associative Frequency for Generation X) is a web radio station dedicated to electronic music, influenced by the 80s and 90s, with a "Pop" schedule on weekdays, a "Club" schedule on weekends, and a marked taste for obscure or forgotten French (non-)guilty pleasures.
