Braak (Bråk) is a Norwegian word for noise, trouble and uproar. But interestingly the music of Braak is quite the opposite. His tracks are a true sonic delight - each piece is an exquisitely produced tapestry of radiant electronic textures and blissful down-tempo rhythms. While Braak's work ranges in mood from the soothing to the overwhelming, it is always deeply inspiriting and feels rather like breathing in the vista from a mountain summit!

Unless You Crave Danger is Matt Bovett, a multi-instrumentalist songwriter from Missouri City, Texas. With a focus on lyrically-honest songwriting, he fuses programmed and performed analog and digital sounds, ignoring genres and pushing sonic boundaries while staying true to his ‘80s/‘90s influences and roots. Working entirely alone, serving as his own writer, producer, engineer, and mixer, he is able to ensure his original visions for his songs are kept intact and served from every possible perspective of the writing and recording process. His most recent releases are the singles "Prey", "Lies" and "The Throes". His debut album “Ch. 1” includes songs “Worthwhile”, “Mess”, “Give”, “Quit Me”, “Against Me”, “Breaking Down”, “Enemy”, “Control” and “Prayers”. He has also released covers of Depeche Mode songs “Fly on the Windscreen”, “Black Celebration”, and “Here Is the House”. Matt currently resides in Austin, Texas, where he writes and records music.

We begin in the year 2008 with Josh, Dan and Brian. Three unassuming, well mannered and fun-loving fellows from a town near the sea. Regressed, mutated and collectively known as Fartbarf, they somehow bring us all into the future, captivating audiences with relentless melodies, robotically tight rhythms, and danceable beats by use of a strict limitation of tools at hand; vintage analog synthesizers, vocoders, drum machines, analog modular systems, and live drums.
