To celebrate our passion for amazing hot dogs and the almost end of summer up north, LTP host David Boylan is hanging at Capital Dog in Lake Leelanau with owners Sue and Kevin Burns. Both Sue and Kevin are Grand Rapids natives who share our appreciation of Yesterdog in Eastown GR and have a very interesting road to Capital Dog including owning the Riverside Inn in Leland. They are a fun couple who take their dogs and other fabulous menu items very seriously. We talk food, music and of course hot dogs road trippin this week on LTP on Ferndale Radio.

This week LTP host David Boylan is celebrating 10 years of his popular annual "Fish Stories" show that has featured charter captains in San Diego, Detroit and Traverse City, Michigan.
He is joined by Captain Mark Mihelich from Boundless Boat Charters to recap highlights from 10 years of Lick the Plate Fish Stories and talk food and music of course. They recorded the show while fishing about 10 miles off of La Jolla.

This week LTP host David Boylan is hanging at the in Midtown Detroit at the iconic Temple Bar with owner George Boukas whose family has a long history in Detroit and has some fabulous stories. Temple Bar, near the Masonic Temple has been a haven for diversity and dancing for years. It is also known for being featured in the Comedy Central series "Detroiters". A steady flow of top DJ talent fills the dance floor on the regular.
