Some are cheap mics, like the MXL 603 about 60 bucks, the Nady ribbon is about 80 bucks. They sound pretty good though. The beyer 260 here is modified with an RCA DX77 ribbon. The Shure 300 was ribboned by steven sank about 12 years ago.

the share sm98 is actually a BETA98h, and was recorded using he wireless  (digital) rig that it came with. Its kind of no surprise that the beyer is (arguably) the best, along with the Shure 300. The playing gets better as it goes along:) The list is in the order they were played
