A fascinating artifact from the early Laxá catalog, capturing the original 3-piece lineup—Jussi Siglarson, Bjarne Guðjohnsen, and Matthias Helguson—with guest Lisbeth Heima on strings. Recorded as a raw live take on a borrowed tape recorder in Jussi's basement, the track is lofi in the extreme.

The song is drowned in fuzz, with a palpable sense of uneasy energy pressing against the ambient surface from underneath, while the forcibly contained surface presses back down against it. It is an unsettling atmosphere, short in duration but possessing immense depth—a piece of Lynchian darkness that feels like trying to remember a strange dream.

Listen closely and you can hear the creaking floorboards and a distant siren unwittingly captured, but immortalized, in the final mix. This is a bold, intentional use of music to create a haunting and unusual effect on the consumer.
